The Fracture Risk Assessment Tool (FRAX) is an algorithm estimating the 10-year probability of a major hip or major osteoporotic fracture. The probability of a fracture is computed based on several clinical risk factors, including age, sex, weight, prior fracture, parental history, smoking, alcohol, glucocorticoid use.
